Police brutality is legally defined as a civil rights violation where officers force against civilians. This can include physical, verbal harassment, physical or mental injury.
We choose this because police brutality is a big issue in this society. Many are scared for their lives. We need to stop this. I also wanted to pick this topic because I will be a police officer (also therapist) so I want to hear people personal experience with the police. I believe everyone has a different perspective on police. There are good and bad cops.
