For the two picture I choose are "The Parish Garden In Nuenen" and "Mona Lisa". The three artists I pick are Banksy, van gogh, and Leonardo de Vinci. I choose two quotes from the book.
To begin with, the two picture I choices are from van Gogh and Leonardo da Vinci. Van Gogh aka Vincent Willem van is a Dutch post-impressionist painter. Van gogh was born on March 30, 1853 in Zundert, Netherlands. The paint I picked out that he created is the “ Parish Garden In Nuenen”. The painting was made from oil paint which gives it a realistic feeling. The Parish Garden In Nuenen was stolen on March-30- 2020 from a Dutch Museum. The painting was painted in spring 1884.The painting was stolen from the museum because it was closed due the covid-19 outbreak. The robbers who take the painting break the glass from the museum and take it. I like the painting “The Parish Garden In Nuenen” because it has unique color companions. For example the painting has green, red, blue, grey, and black. The other painting I picked is Mona Lisa by Leonardo De Vinci. Leonardo de vinci was born on April 15, 1452, in Anchiano, Italy. I picked out mona lisa because the picture is amazing to look at. The painting was created in early 1503 .The pictures have beautiful colors which can attract people to know about the history of the painting. The woman in the painting is Lisa del Giocondo, We know her as Mona Lisa. I write about this monalisa paint because it is so iconic to me and many other people. Many people who visited the Mona Lisa painting in the museum of louvre which is located in France. People who visited the museum say that Mona Lisa eyes follows them which I think it is cool to look at.
Second, the three artists I pick are Baksy, van Gogh, and Leonardo De Vinci. Banksy is a anonymous street artist, vandal, political activist, and a film director. Banksy satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humour with graffiti executed in a distinctive stenciling technique. Banksy created many movies that help us understand what is he doing in the Movies. The movies are Exit Through the Gift Shop, The Antics Roadshow, and the Rebel Rocket Attack. Banksy was born in the United kingdom in a city called Bristol in 1974. Banksy did many amazing street art but his most famous piece of art is mona lisa holding a rockette launcher and wearing a headphones. The next artist I write about is Van Gogh the most famous painting he did is The Starry Night. The painting was made of oil paint. Van Gogh was born on March 30, 1853, in Zundert, Netherlands. Van Gogh Education level are Royal Academy of Fine Arts (1886–1886), Willem II College (1866–1868). Van Gogh specializes in Painting and drawing. Leonardo de Vinci was Born on April 15, 1452 in a town called Anchiano which is located in Italy. Leonardo de Vinci went to Andrea del Verrocchio. Leonardo de Vinci most famous painting is Mona Lisa.
Third, the two quotes that I pick is "A signature element of this growth of the culture industry is the emphatic co-opting of all forms of American cultures. The major powering the US economy were now standing side by side with the likes of the beatniks, the ravers, the punks, the gangsters, and the revolutionaries". The second quote is "Globalism and the culture industry combine to form a fertile for the growth of Interventionists practices. The fact that "culture" became the primary industry of global capitalism was not lost on many of the artist across the global.
