Proposal

                                                                                                      PALESTINE

                   In my project I wrote about Palestine. Palestine is a country in the middle east. Palestine is located near the Jordan and Egypt borders.  I did this project to gave  a wariness. there is many historic events. The five artist that i choice represented the Palestinian people struggles and happens.



                   To begin with, I did this project to give awareness to what is happening in Palestine.          I did an alphabet book that represents Palestine. In the alphabet book I pick a word that represents Palestine. The worlds that represent Palestine are famous places, foods, and major events that happen in Palestine history.


                Second, there is a lot of history in Palestine. First of all the place Bethlehem was the birthplace of (Jesus) or in Arabic (Issa). For many Muslims Jerusalem or Al-Quds in Arabic it is a very important place for Muslims because they pray there 5 times a day. Also, there are a lot of food and desserts are invited in Palestine like falafel which is made of chickpeas, also a famous dessert that is made in Palestine is kunafa which is a cheese dessert. Another Important thing that represents Palestine is the dabke dance which is used as a celebration like a wedding or a graduation.


             Thirdly, the five artist that represents palestine or Palestinian are Nabil Anani, Kamal Boullata, Sliman Mansour, Dana Awartani, and Emily Jacir. Nabil Anabi is 77 years old from Halhul, Palestine. Kamal boullata was born in 1942 in Jerusalem, Palestine, but he died on August 6, 2019. Another famous Palestinian artist is Sliman Mansour he is 73 years old. Dana Awartani is a Palestinian female who live in Jeddah, Saudia Arabia and she is 33 years old. Also, Emily Jacir is from Bethlehem, Palestine and she is 42 years years old. Each one of these artists has a unique way to express themselves like by drawing with a lot of color or doing sculptures.

                Final, In the book, I am going to do an alphabet book. I am going to use English letters but the word is in Arabic pronouns. The little book is going to be a booklet for the whole family. The book is going to be very easy to read and it is going to  have amazing pictures. The pictures are going to describe each word. Each word that I choose represents a different thing about Palestine. Also I am going to color the book with different calories. I am going to do this to inform the people about Palestine. I want to inform people because Palestine is a beautiful place. In Palestine there are beautiful scenery like the oceans, wells, lakes, trees, and mountains.

 In conclusion I did this project to give awareness or knowledge about Palestine.  In Palestine there is a lot of history. The five artists that I pick represent Palestine and its people by the way they draw. in the book i did an alphabet book about Palestine.

    Are you still creating the ABC book? Can you please explain that here. This post does not explain at all what the project actually is!! It is about Palestine - but what IS IT??
