Proposal immigraion

Hello everyone my name is fady habib I was born in Egypt; Cairo I have been lived in Egypt since I was 13 years old and then I immigrated to the United States. But before I talk about coming here to united states, I want to talk about my life before and how and why we came to America. at Aug 24, 2010 my dad and his friend was talking about coming here to America so they applied for lottery for fun and we see our luck is we get picked up that’s good if it’s not that will be okay so we waited like 5 month and then we got the letter that we got approved for the interview we all was excited and happy that we can start new life but we know all this proses will take time so we lived our live ass is What I loved about my home community was that the people were so kind. They helped each other without asking anything for return. For example, an old woman was crossing the street and then someone came and helped her without asking them to do so. The capital city of Cairo is not only Egypt's largest city but its most historic. The area is known for its landmarks that represent both Ancient Egypt and its Islamic history, drawing many tourists. Many of the region's most famous landmarks are not actually in Cairo but in the small neighboring city of Giza. Also, before I leave my country, I had the best family ever. We were gathering every Friday in the park eating and having fun. After that we go to church at night for a meeting and then we go to someone is house and eat again ha-ha. This way I love my country and my family. On Sundays my brother and I always go to church to attend liturgy. And then we go out with our friend’s boys and girls, first we eat an Egyptian famous plate named “Kushari” is a dish originally made in the 19th century, made of rice, macaroni, and lentils mixed together, topped with a spiced tomato sauce, and garlic vinegar, and garnished with chickpeas and crispy fried onions. This was the best dish ever after a long day in church. After that we go out to the pyramids to ride camel and horses. That was the most fun days in my life. Every 4 month our church makes a trip for the kids and the people of the church. For example, before I came here, I had the best two days of my life I went to the Luxor and Aswan we went to visit our legends “Luxor temple” “Karnack temple”, “Abusimble temple” and “Philae temple”. All these places had a story behind it was a good day this way I love Egypt so much. And then it came our holiday and one day we were at church and then in 2011 Alexandria bombing was an attack on Coptic Christians in Alexandria, Egypt, on Saturday, 1 January 2011. Twenty-three people died as a result of the attack, which occurred as Christian worshipers were leaving a New Year service. 97 more were injured. The attack was the deadliest act of violence against Egypt's Coptic Christians in a decade, since the kosher massacre in 2000 left 20 Copts dead. The target of the bombing was the Saints Church, a Coptic church located across the street from the Masjid Sharq El-Madina mosque. At this time in Egypt we had a lot of problems between Coptic and the country. The 2011 Egyptian revolution (Revolution of 25 January) took place following a popular uprising that began on 25 January 2011. The uprising was mainly a campaign of non-violent civil resistance, which featured a series of demonstrations, marches, acts of civil disobedience, and labour strikes. Millions of protesters from a variety of socio-economic and religious backgrounds demanded the overthrow of the regime of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. Despite being predominantly peaceful in nature, the revolution was not without violent clashes between security forces and protesters. The uprising took place in Cairo, Alexandria, and in other cities in Egypt, following the Tunisian Revolution that saw the overthrow of the long-time Tunisian president. On 11 February, following weeks of determined popular protest and pressure, Mubarak resigned from office. A lot of people at this time was killed and died so we left our house and went to the big family house to be safer. And then came after a week or two we booked the plan flight to come to America my dad and mom was so worried about me and my brother so we had to leave ass soon. From her we started our new life. In the same time, I did want to leave my country and my family and friend but I had to start a new life and career. We left Egypt and came to America in April17, 2011. When we arrived, it was new life for us all we didn’t had the language speak English in that time we didn’t even know where to go to but thank god my dad had a friend here in America, he been here for ten years. So, he came to us and he send us to church this church named St. Marks church they invited us for two weeks until we find a house. We didn’t know where to look but people from church helped us a lot when we came. For example, we didn’t know where to look for a house but we asked at church and someone find a very good house and cheap too. And then my dad was looking for a job been looking for more than 2 weeks for any job but he couldn’t find anything in that time because he didn’t have language of speak

English. Ass he was looking for a job he heard an Arabic music in a small pizza store this story was just opened and he needed people to work and then the owner hired him. My dad was so happy in that time because it was an Egyptian store that he can start from there.

My brother and I applied for school but we had some trouble first couple weeks we couldn’t understand anything the teacher was talking about. And then we got some friends they were Egyptians kid’s so kind they helped us every time we needed anything. Also here in USA in the houses there is no  Washer  to wash our close not unlike Egypt we can have it at the house here is illegal so my mother didn’t know what to do in the first  weeks so she was doing it with her hands that was so hard to do until she asked and she knows that people go to the laundry to wash the close because in my home country we didn’t have all this we had a Washer in the house. So, her friend took her one day and she thought her everything that she needs to do. My family and I we were glad to have people like this in our life because without them we wouldn’t be here now. These immigrant makes us feel like we are back in our country. Because we do the same thing in Egypt. Now we have our life together we been here for nine years now me and my brother starting our career I am doing Criminal Justice, and my brother doing computer science. My brother almost done with college and I am after his we planning to work hard to have a good money and buy a big house for me and my family and gave a break to my parents and let them stay home they did their part and they was so tired and they worked so hard to make my brother and I happy like other kids and get us everything that we wanted. The only problem in this country in to my eyes is there is no life in here in the US I mean everyone is running after money they for example the rent for houses it’s so expensive also down payment for a car or a house or you have a lone for your college that you have to pay all those stuff the first goal is money for example my dad work two jobs because the rent of the hose and also can save anything for the family for the future for any emergency also my mom works too to provide a good life for me and my brother you won’t believe me when I tell you I don’t see my family. We wasn’t like that in my country my mom didn’t work and we was living a decent life not saying America is not fare or any thing but here everything is about money not only me and my family I bet all families like that eat work sleep and repeat.
